Indoor stairs
Pedestals stairs: In general, suitable for all buildings.
Straight stairs: By apartment buildings; consider half-pace.
Helical stairs: Mostly in one-family houses.
Spiral stairs: Unapt for main stairs.
Steep stairs: Alternately step, limited admission, alley ≥ 500 – 700mm, handrails on both sides.
Safety: Opening ≤ Ø 120mm.
Half-pace: After 18 steps at least.
Raising proportion: 2 x ↑ + 1 x ↔ = ~ 620 – 630mm (walk line area).
Walk line: From the interior; spiral stairs from the exterior.
Step depth: At the walk line ~ 250 – 290mm. At the inner well side string ~ 120mm.
Passage width: In one-family houses ≥ 800mm, in apartment buildings ≥ 1100mm.
Wall distance: Steps and half-paces ≤ 50mm, handrails ≥ 50mm.
Balustrade height: For stairs and balustrades ≥ 1000mm.
Handrails: Step-leading edge – handrail-upper edge ↑ 800 – 900mm. Ø 40 – 50mm. |
